Problems with PDF Maker and Word 2003

When I right click on a doc file and click create PDF file it says PDFmaker files are missing (they are not) and I must install them which I do.

I also go it Word help About and enable PDF maker add-in

Once I d that I can't start Worrd 2003 again and it says I must disable PDFmaker.

So I am back to square 1

I am using Windows 7

I can't solve your problem for you, but I can offer an alternative.
I use Bullzip PDF myself. It's a virtual printer: just click print as, choose Bullzip printer and your pdf get's created.
You find it here.

Thank you for the suggestion, but that just prints to PDF. The advantage of Adobe PDF maker is that it creates a PDF file where all the links and references work rather than just printing a PDF

Kate. Can you please post the links to the sites. Depending on where members live, and how they have their Google search setup, they will not always get the same results as you.

That link gives exactly the same advice I tried and explained in my original posting, so its not much good.
