When I use Chrome as my browser I have one website that requires the use of Java.
Even though I've downloaded Java the website won't run.
I have no such roblems if I use IE9!!
Please help

drc1939, there have been so many reports of the same problem with Chrome recently and as yet I have not seen a resolve. Personally do not like Chrome.

However, a member recently posted Comodo Dragon as a chrome alternative; http://www.comodo.com/home/dow.....od=browser

So far, this browser has performed with excellent results.

Yes, Google Chrome seems to have turned into bit of a train crash. I noticed this in the Comodo page, that I've highlighted, so the problem must be widespread:

You also gain these security/privacy options that are not in G/Chrome:

I've been using it a few months and had not a murmur of discontent from it and it also seems a bit faster. In use the transfer is pretty seamless...little to no learning curve and only one add-on didn't work for which I found a suitable alternative in Chrome store.

You can transfer bookmarks by clicking the Dragon Icon > Bookmarks > Import Bookmarks and Settings > From: Chrome (In dropdown menu) > Import.

That's Ok Mike. :)

As an aside, there is Comodo Ice Dragon, which is the Firefox version, if the FF team ever do anything silly and frustrating with that one in the future!
