problem with burning dvds

i am having a HUGE problem burning dvds. i am using vista premium. i have tried to use the windows dvd maker that it comes with and on all of them that i burn the audio is at least a second slower then the actual movie. i tried to download a free trial of nero 7 but it always freezes half way thru. i have also tried another free trial of easy mpeg to dvd and that would burn half dvds for me. please help me out with this. i really like the windows dvd burner because of the way it makes the menus and i would like to use that. please help me out!!

What kind of movies are you trying to burn to dvd? Is the audio correct in the first place?

yes the audio is correct in the first place. i am trying to burn dvds in the format of mpegII
