I think it might be a good idea to have a tick or something next to a problem that has been resolved

I agree. And possibly moved to a subforum so people can find their issues easily without making redundant posts.

That's a good idea. Move it to a subforum and cut out all the unnecessary bits (sorry to the geek for that)
