Hi, I got a problem installing Nero 7 Premium (not Reloaded version) on Windows Vista. Whether I ran as Administrator or not, the first sign of pop-up error says:

The Windows Installer has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
(Only a Close Program button is shown below)

Next, another error message pops up right after I close the Windows Installer.

It says:
Internal Error:
Custom Action DLL crashed on last call in function 'NeroAg_UnregisterComEx'. The installer must now exit.

Crash Thread ID 3392
Current Thread ID 5156

(With a Ok button below)

Hopefully, someone have encountered this problem and knows a trick or two.

The easiest way to fix this is probably to use System Restore to take your computer back to pre-installation woes.

What version of nero exactly is it? They have a version on their site that is compatible with Vista, but you'll have to get rid of the half-installed version first.

You can use Nero Clean Tools for this:
http://www.nero.com/nero7/eng/Clean_Tools.html

or you can use "Your Uninstaller":
http://www.download.com/3001-2096_4-10633864.html

You should be installing Nero 7.5+ or preferably the latest Nero 7.7 if possible, which is available from their site. Don't use the version off the cd.

I have the exact same problem as ashley. However, I cannot seem to get rid of it using Nero Clean Tools or Your Uninstaller or even System Restore!
Please help!! Thxs
