Hi.
I can't install my modem driver in windows 8.
It's level1 fbr-1161.
In windows 7 while installing the driver, it shows a screen in which ask continue installing or no.
In windows 8 when reaching that part, it crashes and stop installing.
Does anyone know a way?
Thanks in advance.

@MKSoft Welcome to HTG.

Driver is not getting installed because it is not compatible with Windows 8. If you look at the Download section of the Modem, it only has Vista driver.

Yes it is dear Santo but i was thinking if i can edit it somehow or do something with the windows 7 driver to be installed on windows 8.
i Extracted it's driver .exe with 7-zip and i have it's files.
Is there any way to edit them?

Finally could install the driver:D
Know I have another problem.
Windows 8 has problem with my USB driver in apps.
I have internet access in Desktop mode but in apps, it gets offline!
Or even sometimes it crashes and when I disconnect the USB cable, crash wipes out!
I even disabled on board LAN but it didn't work.
Any suggestions?
