Problem dual booting windows 7 and 8..

I am on Pavilion dm4 machine, which is an i5 with 6gig of RAM and it came with preinstalled windows 7. I want to dual boot windows 8 along with this windows 7. I followed THIS guide:

Everything went fine until the last point i.e.
"open an elevated command prompt, and type bcdboot.exe I:\Windows (assuming that I:\ is the drive with Windows 8 on it)."

I get an error message saying:

"Failed to set element application device. Status = [c00000bb]"

I have tried creating a boot entry with EasyBCD to bypass this step but no avail.

Please help.

Update:
I figured this issue out.
Solution: create vhd file only on C:

This worked for me. But when I restarted my pc, it booted into windows 8, now it end up on a blue screen saying :
"VHD_BOOT_INITIALIZATION_FAILURE".

Anyone knows how to fix it?

p.s. i was able to boot back into my windows 7
