I have a Dell 922 multi use printer/copier/scanner I went to the Dell site to download printer drivers for the Dell 922 and after several windows Dell said the 922 was not compatible with my eMachines new tower with Windows 7.

Uhh, I couldn't find a Dell 992 printer on their site? Could that be a TYPO, a 922?

If it is a 922, you might want to check THIS out.

@ispalten, yeah, they've got a 922 AIO in the list, it just isn't in very correct numerical order. Your sited forum does offer hope, and I wish I had seen it before I fried my 964 AIO experimenting w/64 bit OS. That was my call, but even on 32 bit win 7, it didn't have full functionality (duplex print, etc.) I bought a new V715w for 140$ and it's a vast improvement in many small areas, and simpler to use.

Try installing the drivers for Vista on Windows 7 using 'Compatibility Mode' and see if that works.
