(Solved) - printer suddenly printing blank

Have you tried printing "The Self-Test page" from the printer itself not from Windows, I think if you hold the GO button for a couple of seconds and let go it should print out a test page, at least that way you'll know if it's the printer or Windows that's causing the problem!!

The pin presses down a button when the lid closes. You can just use a safety pin to keep this button pressed. Thanks to everyone for their help
