Can you preview jpegs throught MS Access? I created a photo database that has hyperlinks to a shared drive of photos. Now you can query on thousands of photos finding what you want in seconds, only to make the program more useful I would like to be able to show a preview of each photo liked to the record. (the Photo links are unique to each record.) Is this possible or am i trying to hard?! Thanks How-to-Geek!

Previewing Jpeg Through MS Access
(2 posts)So just to check you have a field of the type 'hyperlink' which has the full path to a picture and when you click on it the picture opens?
Also you now you want to make a form that has a preview displayed to the right of the form displaying the picture?
If so then it should be possible with a bit of scripting.
I just did a quick search for Microsoft Access Get Image From Record and found a page at http://www.databasedev.co.uk/image-form.html listing how to do display a picture in a form using the picture path in a record.
