Hey Guys!
I can see that you are really busy but can you help me by giving me a link to a utility program that would keep my local computer clock up to date. The program must not display an icon in the taskbar neither display any message which states that there are no internet connections... I hope you guys would respond to my cry! This is the one and only problem I have now, facing my computer... Thank you very much in advance..

Toney,

1. Control panel>>Date and Time>>Internet Time>>Sync with internet time server
2. Replace CMOS 2032 Battery.

Kindest Regards,

I sync with internet server but then when I turn off my comuter and later turn it on, the point of time when the computer was turned off, the time starts from there when it is truned back on so the time always be behind. Since my computer is sheduled to sync every one week, it is very impossible since my computer clock always be behind.

Toney,

Open the case and put a new little battery in.
If you post the make and model number of your machine, I will search and maybe find a picture of how you can do this so you can better understand procedure.

Kindest Regards,
Rick P.♦ :)

Hey Raph:
I am alright! I am afraid to open the case! Can this issue be resolved by the use of software which can automatically sync my computer clock?

Toney,

From your history postings (4) days ago; you said your computer was fixed.

What happened between then and now ??

Toney,

Don't leave.
Just wondered what happened as you thanked me so much last week and I began just wondering if I had finished really helping you fix the problem with your machine.

Don't like to ever just leave a member without finishing or getting help from other members.

That's why I wanted to show you where the little battery is located.

Kindest Regards,
Rick P.♦ :)

Mike,

It could indeed be a Vista issue which I'm unfamiliar with.
I have run into this on several occasions with older Win2K machines that are not booted up daily.
Maybe another member has a firm answer concerning the problem besides my replace the CMOS battery reply.

Kindest Regards,
Rick P.♦ :)
