every time i go to download something in ubuntu i'll get an error message saying the download didn't complete change preference setting. and like everything else in linux, that's 100% too vague! what preference setting should i be resetting?

what are you trying to download from? package manager or firefox or where? this might help the process lol or is it just everything that you download?

may be something wrong with the place where you want to download .. i mean , are you downloading that thing at your desktop or somewhere else ???

i get a warning box over top of the firefox download screen in the corner. it happened again, it doesn't specifically say what preference to change. when i find out, i'll report it
