Despite using appropriate instructions to embed video in poweropint 2010 I receive error. can't embed using this code please try again. I'm using 32 bit Office and 64 bit windows 7 on my Toshiba Satellite laptop. My "Office" is out of warranty so Microsoft is no help. Thank you.

No. I'm trying to link to video on web rather than download. Is there a way to do this without downloading to my storage?

The article contains instructions about Linking to a video file on a web site.

Drop down to the link in the article and expand it.

Yes, this is the path I have followed. It does seem straightforward but I consistently get the same error message. Thanks for thinking about this!
