I have a Vista Home Premium computer with SP2. I received an e-mail with a slide show done in Power
Point. I viewed it in my Power Point Viewer 2007. I would like to isolate one image from it to use as
my desktop. Is this possible to do?? If so - how???

Thank you for all of your help,

This is probably easier in full PowerPoint, but you can still manage it in Viewer by taking a screenshot

There are a number of ways to do this, but unless you have extra software you already use, I'd suggest using Snipping Tool (part of Home Premium)
A tutorial is found here

Thank you - I had forgotten about the 'snipping tool'.

cygpup, next time you have a problem like this, upload the PP file to e.g. Skydrive and give us the link. Then one of us who has PowerPoint 2007 can pick it up, extract the pictures for you and load them back to Skydrive. That way you have them back in no time.
