PLZZZ HELP INSPIRON 1100 DELL

hello,

i hv a inspiron 1100 dell laptop, it had windows xp home edition, but harddrive was bad, so i put a new one in! so i had put vista on . but know having problem with a driver for resolution, graphic or video? the color not right at first it didnt fit screen until i change it to 128 x 720. i even look to see want dell site was if there were any drivers ? and i could not find nothing! everything else works, but the color, and when i do try to load a driver its says this is for vista but i have vista on it! SO WAS I SUPPOSE TO FLASH BIOS OR WHAT????? :0(

so.............. any help plz!

First, did you put on a leagal copy of Vista with a Product Key? If not the driver installation may not work.

Second if you have "On-Board" video and not a video card you should be able to find drivers under the Dell web site under Technical Support then drivers and downloads then supply your service tag or model in the appropriate place.

If you get errors installing post a picture or quote them completely.
