Recently I've had browsing problems.

I can connect to my internet, and I can browse websites for a few hours, sometimes only a few minutes.

I just suddenly can't browse anymore, though I'm sure the connections are running fine. There are other who is using the same connection as me and they can browse the web just fine.

I know for one it is NOT the LAN problem because I also can't browse with a wireless connection on.

I have scanned my computer for viruses, I found none.

I have scanned it for malware, I found one but it was easily gotten rid of and it had not affected any parts of my computer.

Also, I have both IE and Firefox and they both dont work after this error.

I can also ping from the command prompt just fine.

Please help. I can give details if anyone needs them to help me.

The pages just suddenly stop loading both on firefox and IE, they display page cannot be displayed

Are you pinging with an IP Address or a website URL name? Makes a difference.

When you fail to get out, from the COMMAND LINE, what does "IPCONFIG /ALL" show?

If you Right Mouse Button on the Connectoid in the Systray, select DIAGNOSE AND REPAIR, what does that report?

Select NETWORK AND SHARING CENTER, what does that show?

In the CENTER, select VIEW STATUS for your connection, what does that show? Click on DETAILS, are the DNS there? Is the address of the ROUTER there?

If you DISABLE and ENABLE the connection, does it re-connect?

Are you running wired or wireless?

I assume connected to a ROUTER? Is there a LOG on your router that might show some info, such as another computer coming on and TAKING your local IP address?

Just throwing out some debug info requests and possible causes.
