(Solved) - plasma tv help

i know this forum is for computers but maybe someone can help.i have a plasma tv one of my kid left the dvd on the still menu.the images is now burned in

Unplug, from the mains, both the plasma and the player, wait 30 secs, turn both on again.
The reason I say unplug is that some players remember from standby mode the last configuration.

it seems the longer i leave it on the blue screen the better it gets.dont know should i leave it like that.but thanks its much better then it was.

So what is the connection from player (make, is it a dvd player), is it vga, or hdmi?
If your tv supports hdmi I would then use that by default.

As far as I can see, the screen is locking from the last view from the player. From the player, menu, reset to the default playback preferences.

Tis a thing with these bloody devices, they have very 'different' set up menus.

thanks sorry took so long to get back.when i was playing with the tv i upsetted my modem.

tha dvd is not idmi.i have it hooked up component.the plama tv is hdmi.but thanks unpluging it helped
