Php-syslog-ng Install and configuration

Dear,

I need to install PHP-SYSLOG-NG on my Ubuntu system. But Im not able to find any useful documentation . Can someone please tell me from where to find working tutorials.

First I will install on ubuntu then later if and only if every thing goes smooth i will try to install it on RedHat.

Kindly Help.
