Which Geeks here :) are INTO photography????

Well i am and heres a few pics i have taken!

Nice pics. Have you been to all these places. I've been to most except down under. We especially like Venice and California.

lol i was bored yesterday so using photoshop and image ready i created a small gif animation for all the forums i log onto.

those are pics i took when i was in a cruise liner in south victoria (australia) for a vacation. I'll be uploading some more pics later, thats if i can be stuffed.

Hash, Since you seem to know your way around these things one question: I have an animated Gif image. How do I get that on the forum?

ok just like HowtoGeek, it says upload a custom avatar and it specifies whats the maximum pixels the gif can be. for example its 50 x 50 in howtogeek. And its 75 x 75 in metrolyrics.com.

Tell me the size of your gif animated image and the pixels. And do you want it for this site?

and if the size etc are correct all you have to do is:

click on view your profile on the top of the screen

and click avatar.

then browse for your image and click ok. Upload :)

thats it

refresh the page and see your new avatar.

Thanks Hash, you finally made me put an avatar in. The animated one did not work. I have no problem resizing. I do this with the Office Picture Manager. I still would like to post the animated one somehow - not as avatar though. The animated one is funny. It is a Gif.

Just upload it to imageshack and work a little html magic.

Also, I'm glad you have an avatar. It makes your posts easier to pick out.

Nothing against ninjas (have to say that, or they'll come and get me). Just don't like things flashing when I'm trying to concenttrate.

taybay, the ninja is nice - I like it. We'll hide it from papa Lighthouse. I am glad you approve of my avatar. It is Knut, the little polar bear born in the Berlin zoo. That was a big story last year in Germany. There are Knut clubs, Knut songs and the whole nine yards.
