first timer on forum
looking for free software whereby i can edit pdf files. user friendly software. large pdf files if possible

Easiest is to convert it to .doc and edit it in Word.

Hi Rudy1969,

Welcome to HTG :)
You can do as whs says or you can give PDF Xchange Viewer a try.
If you want to write a document and have it as pdf, you can also use a virtual printer. Bullzip PDF printer is the one I use - prints from any program straight to pdf.
