Is there a way to password protect a folder in windows XP?

good work Scott! In fact you can even encrypt the content in XP if you wanted to. Or simply hide the folder... if you do not have "show hiden files and folders" checked the user will not see it. It's a simple trick to use if you have files or folders on a network.
