I always do. Easier to get a jump start from another vehicle if battery should go dead. Unless you have extra long cables, or a rear engine car.

I had a Corvair I use to race on dirt tracks.

When setup properly, it handled really well !!!!

Yeah, the gas tank was not in the right place. We had to run modified for safety issue.

We moved up to Chevy II cause it was easier to fix cheaply. :) :)

Christmas eve four speed transmission went out found one for a 1964. Went to put it in and clutch shafts were a different size for 1963 and 1964. Dealer was open till noon. Got a new clutch shaft and rolled out Christmas day.
