My pages in Firefox will not load mainly StumbleUpon User ad me in blog or www.categorian.com as its called but all is ok on another computer or browser

Try going to the Firefox Orange Button, Preferences, Advanced tab, Network tab, click the "Settings..." button on "Connection - Configure how Firefox connects to the Internet" at the top, and check "No Proxy" or "Auto-detect". If "Manual" was selected and changing it to "No proxy" fixes this, specially if the HTTP Proxy was 127.0.0.1, you should perform a malware scan with one of these:

I've seen this kind of malware quite a few times now, does anyone know how to prevent this before it happens?
