Care to be more specific? Are you getting error codes?
Have you checked your firewall settings? Any recent
Windows Updates for Outlook of late you've installed?

I went in to outlook to send and see what my error message was and now my send ane receive button is not there. It said somthing like cannot find server. It worked the first week I started using this computer this is week two. KB969907 was the update that was last installed for outlook

Did it stop working immediately after the KB969907 update?
Weird because the lack of a manual send/receive
button shouldn't affect the ability of Outlook
to literally send and receive.

Yes, you can delete it.
Control Panel> Programs and Features> View Installed Updates> click to uninstall

Do you have any old restore points?
Sorry, can't really help with QuickBooks.
