Outlook PST password recovery

Hi... Short of using some third-party application is there any way to recover a password that has been set on a Outlook 2k3/2k7 pst file and forgotten. Please note that the back-end mail server being used is NOT an Exchange Server. If using a third-party application is the only choice, could someone suggest any application. Availability of any open-source or freeware application would be much appreciated. Thanks for the help. Cheers.

Hi... Many thanks for the help. I have tried it on a few mail files on my system and it seems to be working.
