can any one help me to get rid of the password box that will not go away. It will not accept the password and i cannot close the box but it pops back up again.. If i changed the password would it help? but i don't know how to do that.

Look in your profile. Or the MO forum. Or Topics I've started. Or Topics I have Participated in.
It's more likely to picked up on In the MO forum (by our specialists on the subject)

You can usually change your account password by going to the Web Mail version of your Email provider. Usually you can find a link to their mail at the web page of the domain name of your email account. Just type in the part after the @ sign into a browser. See if there is a link to their web mail.

Xhi is nearing to the resolve I believe.
However, check your port settings pop/imap and smtp, authentication, (ssl etc)

If you can log into your email provider, there should be setting info you can apply to Outlook
