Outlook 2007 > Calendar > I have two calendars
1. default - Word
2. Added calendar - Personal

I have an iCal file of calendar events from a club calendar. I would like to import this iCal into the 'personal' calendar.

I use the File>Import and Export>import ical process, but Outlook2007 imports into the default 'Work' calendar.

I cannot see anything that allows me to choose which calendar I want to import into.

How do I do this?

Try changing your default calendar before you import?

Dont see anywhere in settings or preferences to change the 'default' setting.

As a workaround;

I imported the iCal into a 'new' calendar. This created a third calendar (eg iCal).

I then changed the view to 'appointment view' > Select All > drag and drop into the calendar I want these events to show in (Personal).

Then I deleted the third calendar (iCal).

Workaroundable but would be better just to be able to import iCal directly into a specific calendar - as in Google Calendars!
