I have started using Gmail in outlook 2007 with IMAP protocol.

I having two problems:
1. For some rezone the messages are automatically flagged.
2. I have no option to add a reminder or to mark for followup at a specific time to the Gmail messages (the only option is to flag message)
"Normal" messages -POP3 have these options.

Suggestions?

If you star a message in gmail, it will be marked as flagged in outlook.

IMAP folders don't get the better flag features, sadly. It's only flagged or not. You could setup a rule to copy all your incoming mail to a personal folder, in which case you could flag them how you want, but then IMAP wouldn't make any sense and you should just use POP3.

I'm having the same issues as you... I just recently started using IMAP fulltime, and I'm not very thrilled with it compared to POP3.

How about "marking" messages for download?

I have the custom option marked to download complete messages and attachments enabled, but I still get the message saying that the message is "not fully downloaded."

Sending/Receiving does not download these messages, either.

This problem only started happening when I moved my Gmail data file to another location, and linked the email account's data file to the new location.
