The new Powerpoint 2007 has much more functionality than the 2003 version, but is there a way to create organizational charts without using the 'Smart Art' function?
Adding and removing lines between boxes seems very difficult, and it appears to be impossible to remove some, especially ones that are part of the original template.

SmartArt is very hard to edit. When you delete one box, you delete another.
