Looking at the changelogs indexes:
http://www.opera.com/docs/changelogs/windows/
http://www.opera.com/docs/changelogs/linux/

It appears the topic title is incorrect. Opera 9.5 was released for Linux already when the Windows release came out.
What happened is Opera 9.51 for Windows and Linux has now been released.

Edit: And for all other desktop platforms Opera supports.

jd, thanks for the update. In my German feed they were talking about 9.5 and gave the link I had posted. I corrected it. Did not mean to mislead anybody.

@whs: You may want to change the title again as it's not just 9.51 for Linux, it's for all platforms.
Also if you use Opera you may want to install the new version.

jd, since this is under the Linux thread, I might leave it at that. I will definitely get the new version although I have only 1 minor problem with 9.5.

Opera is a nice browser, just takes some getting used to. The latest version is especially slick.

@whs: The Wii is a lot of fun, especially with a group of people. It's not your typical game console.

Geek, I am sure it is a lot of fun for many people. But this stuff is not along my allee. Other than chess and a few strategy games, I never played games. The little disposable time one has, one must use to learn something. That's why I am on this Forum and a couple of others.

@whs my grandpa and grandma hated all games until we got a wii at my house and now every time they come over it's hard to get them to stop playing. I kinda like it too but it got kinda boring after awhile especially since we only have wii sports lol.

but whs you should find some one who has one and try it out you never know you might just like it. :)

Yeah, my grandmother actually asked if she could play when she came over a few weeks ago.

She beat me at tennis pretty badly.
