HI, I have an acer 5100 aspire laptop with a 2500 lexmark inkjet printer that scans, prints, copies and does photo work, i want to scan through my added Microsoft works not the word pad how do i change this also i have ABBYY fine reader 6.0 i have added adobbe 8 would like to have programs run though the added adobbe 8 instead as well. The problem is in case i haven't been clear is i am scanning a report, that i want to edit, change and then reprint on my printer but when it opens in word pad it's jumbled, scrambled etc...i want it to open not scrambled is this a result of ABBY 6.0 fine reader i don't know...is Adobe 8 going to be any different....anyway..any suggestions..Nancy
