I have a used Dell Latitude bought from Ebay and its time to change the CMOS battery. I have gotten the hand cover and keyboard completely detached to get at the battery except for one of the little brass colored cylinders in the center of the keyboard. I assume it is just really stuck. Anybody had any experience getting one of these loose or have any suggestions? I've been trying to pry it up with a screw driver, but I'm afraid if I use any more pressure than I have for fear I will break some of the delicate parts.

Opening Dell Laptop
(2 posts)you shouldn't have to put too much pressure on anything to get it to come apart it should go easily try to look for some levers or anything that could be holding it in
and welcome to the forum and i think that the mods should put this out on to the main forum so it can get more views from the main page.
