Opening Browsers

My pc speed is great, except in opening a browser. Once online, it's ok. Why so long to load a browser? Anything to speed it up?

What browser? If you have more than one, does this happen on ALL?

Are you loading a lot of Add-Ons and opening a lot of tabs?

Define 'opening', do you mean before the browser itself even opens or before a URL or TABS fill in?

What browser?

What is your Internet Speed/service?

All browsers should have a SAFE MODE (Help should tell you about it). Running in this mode will use a default profile and not load extra's. If you do this, does it open fast? If so you have PROFILE problem.
