Lol LH

Tom, I have no idea - sorry
Just thinking about it, I'm not sure what we did, seeing as catching insects would have been quite difficult!

I once rescued a bat that had been caught in the basementpart of our appartementblock by catching it and setting it free when I got upstairs. I had my first digital camera then and took some quick shots - so proud I finally held one of the little fellows ánd with good reason (I caught a lot of animals as a kid and then set them free again, but these days I try to interfere with wildlife as little as possible, which means no handling of bats in general <LOL>) - but I didn't have a clue about the microfunction of the camera, so no one recognizes the brownish blur as a bat except for me <LOL LOL LOL>.

Great one, Alex - doesn't matter what you did. You saved it, that's all that matters now <big smile>.

Be aware that bats can carry rabies. So be careful not to get bitten.

Sarah. You live a lot nearer eastern Europe than I do. Just telling you is all.

Thanks LH - I know :)
And I don't see me handling any more any time soon.

Yup, Alex, something like that. I was quite proud of the thing at the time: all my pictures of the time are 600x480 pixels and nó way I can enlarge them. Quality is just too far off :(
So even the cutest and best are in no way fit for printing :'(

That's a shame :(

Poor quality pictures (which also happen to be the best pictures you have) are extremely frustrating!

That's why I got me a Nikon D40 about a year ago. Absolutely love that camera ;)
(And, even though I have't found out all there is to know about it even now, I've found out micro and macro settings, sport, manual etc. etc. LOL)

"Only if they have electricity"" and water and are dry and not drafty and-------why would anyone in their right mind want to live in a cave? I can't even understand LH wanting to! :-)

Bats seem to enjoy it. They hang around all day long.

I've done my bit. Of being active that is. Now I just want to sit in front of a computer all day (sometimes all night) and do things there.
