i got a problem wen i tried to install xp sp2 in my hp-lap which is running got vista home premium.. i uninstalled my sata achi driver and then i installed my xp sp2 i gave me error msg as 'harddisk drivers not found in the system' could any one out there plz help me..................

Did you create a slipstream installation cd?

You can also try and disable SATA in the bios...
