Don’t know if you have this already, but I came across this when I
way trying to get a clients Office 2003 with InfoPath working. For
some reason the damn thing wanted the CD to get some files. I don’t
know what or how she deleted the files it wanted, but I couldn’t
find a CD anywhere and this fixed the problem.

Lets say you lost your CD to Office and now it’s asking for skuxxx.cab file when
you open office? Can’t find the file anywhere? This is a way to get
around needing the CD you lost.

Start

Run

regedit

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE,

Software,

Microsoft,

Office,

11.0, Delivery.

There should be only 1 directory under Delivery, but I had 2. They
are your DownloadCode’s (mine was 90000409-60? and so on and so
forth).

Select that directory. On the right side of the screen, right-click
on CDCache.

Change the value to 0.

Done.

Note: if this doesn’t work, return the value(s) to 2
