I'm posting this here only to get this in the main window view of recent posts, but it really isn't a site suggestion topic.
My question is: Off Topic posts used to show up in the main view of recent posts, but they don't seem to anymore. Is this a change or have I screwed up some setting?
Yes, it is a change. It happened about 7 months ago.
Here a copy of the first posts by The Geek listing the change:
"I'm going to make a change to the forum in a bit here that will hide the off-topic posts from the front page view. That way everybody can have a fun off-topic area but it won't send the regular help questions off the front page."
"Done.
You'll notice that the off-topic posts don't show up in the main page or the latest discussions view, but now you can enjoy all the off-topic bliss you want."

Thanks jd. I was wondering if there was a change because I was sure I remembered that my Off Topic post showed up one time in the main view of recent posts. Since I don't post in Off Topic that much (unless I'm bored), I hadn't really noticed a change 'till now. Obviously I hadn't seen The Geeks notice on this.
