Hi there,

I used to have a NVIDIA graphics card which was a 6600GT
I have now had a NVIDIA GT620 installed... is this a better, faster and bigger graphics card?

Yes. There are a number of sites that list the various incarnations of nvidia cards - Wikipedia's was the first I came across.
