Hi,
The company I work for have for some really annoying reason programmed the computers to turn on with the number lock off.

Without going into the regedit, is there anyway to change this set up?

Why not just push the NumLK button ?

Maybe it annoys others also. Ask your IT about it. Chances are you wouldn't be able to do any registry or bios changes to your company computer anyway. One button to push as GS suggests in the scheme of things does not seem too bad.

You could write a batch file following the instructions in How to Toggle the CAPS LOCK and NUM LOCK Key Off/On. Then add the numlock ON batch file to the startup folder so that it executes automatically when you turn on your computer.
