I was trying to download a pc game on my Vista Home Premium PC and I got this message:
'NSIS Error' - Error writing temporary file - make sure your temporary folder is valid.'

I use the MiniDM downloader. Since I got that error I have done a disc cleanup, a virus
scan, and a spy/malware scan. They did not show anything wrong. Everything is updated.

What happened to cause this error?? What can I do to fix it? Please be specific as I
am new to Vista. Thank you for your help.

Thank you - I will try the suggestions on this link. I was afraid it was my download
manager.
