Not getting emails in outlook 2010 from the spam folder in Gmail

I am not able to receive the mails that go into the spam folder of gmail in outlook 2010. Most of my mails are recognised as spam by gmail and i do not receive them in outlook. Kindly help.

Make sure you are using imap and not pop3 in Gmail...to set it up:

Then you need to bypass the Gmail spam filter:

If all this is too much just get EmailTray which is better than Outlook in every way and automatically gets spam.

it automatically sorts your mail and you can teach it where to put them.
