Not able to join in domain with windoes 8

Dear all,
Hope all is well!

I bought it new i7 toshiba laptop & windows 8 OS is came with that. But i am not able to join in the domain. Its windows 8 Home edition 64bit OS. When i am going to join in domain. The domain option is disable.If i hit also not response anything.what can be the problem....?

You can only join a domain with Windows 8 pro and above, not the Home Version I'm afraid
