Hi,

My old Sony Vaio's internal optical DVD-RAM drive is acting at times.

In it's BIOS don't have a usb option, only Internal optical, HDD, Floppy & Network.

From this link ( http://makegadgetswork.blogspo.....s-not.html) am trying to create a bootable CD manager, so to boot from there & install using usb DVD drive.

Am stuck at this stage & don't understand how to edit the Boot> Grub > grub.cfg file.

Would you expert geekers care to assist with your experience.
