(Solved) No stereo mix

I have a dual boot system with Windows XP and Windows 7 RC.I can see Stereo mix in recording properties along with line in and microphone in widows xp.But Iam not able to see the mix in win7 rc.I tried right click in empty section of the recording tab and enabled devices.still no stereo mix.The driver is Realtek hd audio.Request guidance in getting stereo mix in the recording tab of Win 7 RC.Thanks

joe2005, hello. I have Stereo Mix in Win7 RC with a Realtek HD Audio device. Do you have the latest driver? Check the version information in the HD Audio Manager by clicking on the "i" button. Here's mine:

Audio Driver Version : 6.0.1.5898
DirectX Version : DirectX 11.0
Audio Controller : HD Audio
Audio Codec : ALC888S

Installed latest driver and able to get stereo mix.Thanks for the tip
