I am almost at my wits end with this computer. Its about to go out the window. see, this is what is going on. I had to wipe my computer and reinstall the operating system. I have the P4S800-DX motherboard so I installed the audio driver that that needs. I still have no sound... I have tried pretty much everything. Can anyone help me out please?

Sometimes it's trivial things like the Mixer set to zero. I would first check all the settings before it lands outside the window.

One thing you can try. Uninstall the driver and reboot the system. With luck, Vista will automatically install a generic driver that might do the job.
