So because of this.
The NHLPA is not happy with the Montreal Canadiens and New York Rangers decisions to send Scott Gomez and Wade Redden respectively home to wait for a buyout at the end of the season.

The nhl have amended the CBA to allow teams one contract buy out right now as opposed to end of the season.

Teams have until Saturday and I think will be allowed to save up to one third of the players salary.

@ Scott : Well the Canucks have no worries about the fans returning.

Last nights practice had an attendance of over 8000 at Rogers Arena.

Well if Warlock is really a Pa guy ,not philly, then sure I am in but
you know Scott the season is in conference only and unless one were to pay attention
one might miss the new breed of oiler. The sleeper team of the west.

Ian, some great kids over in Edmonton, from RNH to Nail. And there will always be a special place in my heart for the group forever know as Edmonton-East that helped win in '94. Sorry to bring that up.

Maybe you get yours this year? It's a long short season :)
