You would think so if you were not Canadian ,
The reality is that the sports networks still talk hockey most of the time.
They also show reruns of olympic games canada/russia series .
Sports talk radio here is mostly hockey.

As for live hockey we have major junior and AHL games to go to.

But,, for the truly crazy we have the fake NHL.

Two links here just to show you all.

and youtube videos of the games here:

I miss Grapes in drapes, this Steven & Chris show is killing me :)

I did read that. There's a huge, huge Russian presence in Brooklyn and
I don't just mean the owner of the Nets, the arena. This shoot yourself
in the foot disease is contagious. More like shoot yourself in the head.

As I recall, a great film, but 3 hours on a very uncomfortable cinema seat.

There's always Junior hockey :) This is one of the largest tosses to date, from the Calgary Hitmen WHL arena.

@Scott : I am living the dream with our junior team. ;)
The Giants are 7W and 20 L for a commanding hold on last place in the entire WHL...

@Ian. It could be worse, you could have been a fan of Portland. Geez.

For me, I root for whatever team has a Rangers prospect. Alas, V'ver does not :(
