(Solved) - No Desktop Background

I have recently switched to using windows 7 professional however it will not let me put up my own desktop background. Any help here?

You mean, right click on a picture and "set as desktop background" does not work?

hope this problem doesnt happen to me..im upgrading to win 7 on release =)

one thing to sometimes consider is that if you illegally downloaded win 7 (which if its not RC or beta, it probably is) it sometimes causes problems like this. its not the images fault, but sometimes the activator causes something in the computer to disable backgrounds. i googled this and that was some of the answers. that is why i bought mine for 30 dollars (being a college student - win741.com) and im waiting on release
