I would guess that means the beta is feature complete so the RC1 version should just contain more bug fixes.
If that is the case then it appears Microsoft did a good job deciding what to add to Windows 7 and when to release it unlike Windows Vista which did not really end up at the place people expected after 5 years of development (Windows Vista was good but not a real wow experience).
I'm glad to see that Microsoft appears to finally on the right track.
And I'm really happy to see features like the Taskbar being updated with features that are really new and different for the first time sense the taskbar appeared in Windows 95.
