Hello,

I am VERY new to PC building and have cherry picked abunch of parts together using different peoples builds for a gaming PC and I need peoples advice on if it seems good enough and if all the parts are compatible. ( I must emphasis that up until yesterday, I knew absolutely nothing about computers, so be gentle)

Not much of a builder these days but I think mobo and cpu does not match. The mobo is for Intel cpu. I would also suggest to link the parts to where you will be getting them to make it easier for others to view more details on the part's specs and prices.

G41M is correct CPU and MOBO sockets don't match.

As for the rest you will have to wait for a builder to come online.

No, it won't work with your video card. It's a pci 3.0 x 16 and your mother board is a pci 2.0 x16.
I would change to a pci 2.0 x 16 video card.

Are you talking about the Motherboard from the first post or the new one I put up? Because the new one is in the same build as the Video card.

Here is the link to the build I am going off of---http://www.gamersnexus.net/pc-builds/46-pcbuildupg/985-holiday-budget-gaming-pc

At this point, the only difference I have made is with the SSD

No it's a usb 3.0. Click on your mother board and go to "details" then scroll down to "Expansion Slots" and you will see pci 2.0 x 16

Ohh Ok

is there any Motherboard that would be a good replacement?

I just saw that you said to try and get a 2.0 Video Card. Will the card be less powerful or is this just a matter of different plug ins?
also, the comments on the build page are talking about the Power Supply being a 1x6 pin for PCI Express. Will this be a problem?

If you want a pci 3.0 x16 video card you will need to go to Intel. I don't no if AMD even made a pci 3.0 x 16. You can to a pci 2.0 x 16 video card

Is there any Intel MotherBoards you could recommend that would work?

And are saying that the build from the website wouldn't work?
